Please join us as we maintain the tools and equipment we use to complete stewardship projects on our protected lands! We'll be doing everything from cleaning shovels to sharpening loppers to sorting and labeling gloves. This will be a great opportunity to mingle with SLT staff and other volunteers. We'll be providing snacks as well!
What to Expect:
We'll be maintaining a wide variety of tools that SLT uses for stewardship projects. These tools include shovels, rakes, pick mattocks, Pulaskis, McLeods, grub hoes, loppers, handsaws, fencing tools, and more. If you've seen it at one of our work parties, we'll be maintaining it. Basic maintenance tasks include cleaning, sharpening, labeling, lubricating, tightening, and more. We'll also be maintaining SLT's other stewardship-related gear, including waders, gloves, and more.
