Description

Help Skagit Land trust remove invasive plants from Guemes Mountain Conservation Area! After the work party, we will lead a guided hike up the trail to view flowering plants. If we're lucky, we may even see a few Camas flowers in starting to bloom at the top! Be sure to bring your cameras to capture the beauty of spring. Feel free to join us for both or just one of these events.

Work Party: 9 - 11:00
Nature Walk: 11:15 - 12:15

This property is located on the East side of Guemes Island. Not only does Guemes Mountain provide valuable wildlife habitat, it is also a popular hiking location. The Trust will provide tools, gloves, and refreshments. Please bring a water bottle and a reusable cup for hot beverages. Make sure you wear clothing appropriate for the weather and bring sturdy footwear.
