Skagit County Canstruction is back for 2018! This event brings together architecture, engineering, design, teamwork, creativity and community involvement to raise hunger relief awareness. It is an international competition led by our local Skagit County Rotary Clubs and we would like to invite you to be a part of the event this year.
On Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Cascade Mall, teams will create artistic structures out of unopened cans of food. Structures will then remain on display for a week. The best part of the competition is that at the end of the week, the cans from these designs, as well as funds raised, will be donated to the Skagit Food Distribution Center to help feed families around Skagit County.
Last year the event raised 8,730 pounds of canned food and $3,600. We would love to have you join us in this event either as a sponsor, by fielding a team to build a structure, or by visiting the event and voting for your favorite structure.
