The Celtic Arts Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Mount Vernon whose mission is to “sponsor, encourage and promote Celtic culture through events and educational activities.” In June 2015, the Littlefield Celtic Center was opened and CAF has been able to offer thousands of people the opportunity to learn about, enjoy, and celebrate Celtic culture here. We have hosted concerts, book lectures, films, meals, music workshops, and more since opening the doors to the public last year.
In order to keep this building a welcoming and well-operating space for the community to enjoy Celtic culture, we are asking a team of volunteers to assist us with various "housekeeping" tasks around the Littlefield Celtic Center on Sunday, October 23rd. These include both indoor and outdoor tasks ranging from dusting, cleaning tables and chairs, cleaning hand rails, and more. There are a variety of tasks to be accomplished and we appreciate help from people of various ages and ability levels.
