Skagit Valley Tulip Festival

The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival is a non-profit organization that welcomes thousands of people from across the United States and from around the world to our area each spring.
The festival has grown over the past 37 years from the original 2-day event to the entire month of April. The expansion was to ensure (as much as possible with mother nature) that the tulips are blooming during the festival.
Over the 37 years millions of visitors have taken the journey to the Skagit Valley, making our festival the largest in Washington State. Without the support and passion of our volunteers we could not hold this destination festival each spring, nor greet visitors from all 50 states and 85+ foreign countries as we did in 2019.
We are looking to add dedicated and hard-working volunteers to our team who want to help our organization showcase the agricultural beauty of the Skagit County through the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. Are you looking for a fun way to get involved and support the biggest festival in the Skagit Valley? Are you interested in participating behind the scenes and being an integral part of what it takes to put on a non-profit festival in our community?
Volunteerism is a wonderful and valuable way to get involved, educate, and contribute to your community. We hope that you will share your time and join us as at the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival as a volunteer to help make these five following events unforgettable: Official Poster Unveiling, Tulip Ambassador Event, Gala Celebration, Parade, and Princess/Hero Party. Most volunteer positions involve a variety of roles including setting up and cleaning after each event to very specific roles like tabulating the scores for our Tulip Ambassador candidates or tabulating the winners of our Gala dessert auction.
If you have an interest in helping at one or more of these events please contact the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival by phone at 360-428-5959 or email us at info@tulipfestival.org to discover all available volunteer opportunities, expectations, and requirements.
