Skagit Habitat for Humanity

People in your community, and all over the world, partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat Homebuyers help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. With our help, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and their families here in Skagit Valley.

Skagit Habitat's mission is to build Homes, Hope, and Community. We do this in many ways with volunteers, including:

• Our Construction Program: Join us in bringing our community together to build affordable housing for Homebuyers in Skagit County. We plan to begin building four new homes in Mount Vernon in mid-2022.
  
  
• Our Store: The Habitat Store is Skagit Habitat for Humanity's biggest fundraiser for building Affordable Homes. The Store promotes sustainability by selling donated items, and the proceeds from every sale go towards our build projects, helping a family find strength, stability, self-reliance, and shelter. Our Store is always seeking volunteers to help sort and price items, greet customers, and more!
  
  
• Committees: Reach out to learn about ways people can get involved in strategic or working committees, which help us further our impact in our community.
