Helping Hands Solution Center

We are the largest food bank in skagit county with a client base of over 16000 clients from all over the county. We distribute food 4 days a week to a average of 1000 families every week but have other food programs as well. From our backpack program and chow partnership with over 600 kids enrolled, to the mobile food program for our most vulnerable participants we are doing our part to end hunger and help people live healthier lives.
In concert with our partners at food line line and northwest harvest. We collect and distribute food to more then 1000 individual families every week. From our grocery rescue teams to our backpack and mobile food deliveries we operate 6 days a week picking up and distributing food. We distribute 4 days a week where anyone may come in and get much needed food without judgment and with dignity. We are also in partner ship with the United Way and WSU extension to put together bags of food for the CHOW program that gets delivered to over 600 needy children on Saturday mornings. Our new facility is open and we are up and running. Come in and check us out or better yet volunteer with us.
