Description

Help salmon and orcas by planting trees with Skagit Fisheries Enhancement group!

Celebrate Orca Recovery Day in this project to restore Chinook salmon habitat.  In partnership with Skagit County Parks and Recreation we’ll be planting native plants along the new side channel at Pressentin Park.  

Gloves and tools will be provided.  Covid-19 safety policy: SFEG staff will provide hand sanitizer for volunteers, and will sanitize all frequently touched surfaces. Volunteers are encouraged to keep a mask on their person but, per Washington State Covid-19 guidelines, volunteers are not required to wear masks while volunteering outdoors. 

All ages welcome.

This event is located at 60060 SR 20 in Marblemount.  Please carpool if possible and follow signs for parking
