As a Volunteer Kitchen/Dining Room Helper, a routine shift is up to 4 hours a day (usually 9:00am - 1:00pm), 1 day a week
Duties include:
Helping package food for hot home-delivered meal participants, assist in dishing up and portioning out meal components, preparation of the dining room, which includes place setting and clearing, and may assist in dish-washing if no dishwasher is present.
Requirements:
Clean and neat appearance, must be courteous to employees and participants in the meal program, moderate physical ability to stand, walk and lift, must pass a background check and must have a valid Food Handler's Permit Card (reimbursement available).
