Needs From: Skagit Volunteer Center

The museum needs help with school tours. We offer tours to school students focussing on third and fourth graders. Generally the tours are offered on Wednesdays and Thursdays during the school year. Each tour lasts approximately 1-1/2 hours. Docents may lead one or two tours per month during the school year. Docents are also expected to attend docent meetings once a month during the school year. We would like to recruit retired or former teachers as docents but will accept people who interact successfully with children and who have an interest in Skagit County history.
