Join us at Edgewater Park to learn about and preserve local "Living Memorial," Elm trees. The Skagit Valley has a rich Veteran history, and participants of this event will have a chance to learn more about that history, while helping to honor and maintain the town's cherished elm trees in various locations. We will be mulching, ribboning, and planting poppies around the base of the trees.
All participants will start at Edgewater Park, and depending on the number of participants, there may be opportunities to branch out and tend to elm trees in other locations of the city.
