North Cascade Cares

Who We Are

North Cascade Cares is a ministry of the North Cascade Seventh-Day Adventist Church. We are a faith based, non-profit organization who desires to make a positive difference in our community by providing hope and healing to our neighbors. We currently offer one free dental clinic and one vision clinic each year.

All services are provided by volunteers who have a heart to serve and are given at no charge. Expenses for materials and equipment are covered through donations and grants. The staff, organizers, and venue receive no monetary compensation for their contribution.

What We Do

We offer a free dental clinic each spring to provide cleanings, x-rays, fillings, and extractions to those enduring financial hardship.

The urgent need is for dentists and dental hygienists to volunteer on Sunday, February 18 & Monday, February 19. Volunteers may work one or both days, or for as little as four hours on either day.

General volunteers are also needed for the following:

Spanish translation (urgent need), parking and crowd control, hospitality, patient registration, and more on Sunday, February 18 & Monday, February 19. Volunteers may work one or both days, or for as little as four hours on either day.

Set-up will begin at noon on Friday, February 16. Please register online to volunteer.

A free plant-based lunch will be proved by the North Cascade SDA Spanish Church. We are unable to accommodate specific dietary needs.

Free vision clinics are held each fall which include eye examinations and glasses for those who need them. Glasses are available for pick-up at Cascadia Eye Associates in Mount Vernon 2-3 weeks after the event.

For more information or to volunteer, please visit North Cascade Cares and click on the appropriate volunteer registration. Professions will need to upload an image of their current license.
